Luxury Escapes Partners with Qantas Frequent Flyer

Luxury Escapes and Qantas have partnered to offer even more ways for Australian’s to access great holiday deals to amazing places using Qantas Frequent Flyer points.

From today, Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn one Qantas Point for every dollar they spend on eligible Luxury Escapes holidays in Australia and around the world.

With an average Luxury Escapes booking costing $2,000, a member would earn 2,000 Qantas Points, in addition to points earned on other travel expenses like eligible Qantas or partner airline flights, using Qantas Cash (a prepaid travel money card) and car hire.

In the coming weeks, members will also be able to use their Qantas Points towards the cost of their Luxury Escapes holiday and earn Qantas Points on the total value of the booking at the same time.

Luxury Escapes General Manager Blake Hutchison said he saw immense potential in the partnership and expected customers to be delighted with the opportunity to ‘upgrade’ their room choice or travel experience using points.

“Creating five-star holiday experiences, whether it’s through the journey or the destination, is something that Qantas Frequent Flyer and Luxury Escapes are both passionate about so this partnership makes perfect sense,” Blake said.

“Hundreds of thousands of Australians each year are booking their holidays with Luxury Escapes and we’re thrilled to partner with Qantas Frequent Flyer to offer our customers an even more rewarding travel experience through the ability to earn and soon redeem Qantas Points.

“Our two million Australian members already turn to Luxury Escapes to discover great deals to amazing places and now they can enjoy the extra benefit of being rewarded with Qantas Points if they’re a Frequent Flyer member too.”

Blake believes the partnership with Qantas will open new doors for Luxury Escapes’ partner properties as well.

“Since launching four years ago Luxury Escapes has driven innovation in the luxury travel environment and has most importantly, built a reputation for driving incremental demand to partner properties. This new partnership – with one of the world’s largest loyalty programs - opens up a new network of travellers and adds another point of difference. We believe our partners will benefit greatly."

Qantas Loyalty Executive Manager Commercial David Young said Frequent Flyer members love to travel so giving them a new option to earn and soon use their points on a holiday will be well-received and make their whole travel experience more rewarding.

“It’s a great way for our members to build up their points balance to use towards their next holiday before they’ve even set off and earn points on the bulk of their holiday expenses,” David said.

“And having the option to use points when booking a trip with Luxury Escapes will make indulging even more appealing and more affordable, especially if they’re combining it with points used for a reward flight or upgrade to one of our premium cabins.”

And of course we celebrated...
