Going Platinum: A Special Evening for Our Most Frequent Travelling Members

Luxury Escapes’ Platinum Club is an exclusive collective of 790 VIP, high-spending members who take on average six Luxury Escapes trips per year - with an annual spend of AU$14,000 per person or AU$11 million combined.
These members are loyal to Luxury Escapes and are eager for inspiration to inform their next holiday booking. Platinum Club members have their own dedicated concierge to assist them with bookings and any requests they may wish to make, for a highly personalized service.
As part of the privileges offered to Platinum Club members, Luxury Escapes holds periodical dinners in major Australian cities where local members are wined, dined and showered in prizes. Ultimately, these face-to-face events – including LE on Tour and LE Lounge – enable customers to build a deeper connection with the brand and its employees, whilst invaluable customer feedback is drawn to inform future direction for both Luxury Escapes and its partners.
The latest dinner, held on 22 May at Canvas House in South Melbourne, was a resounding success. Luxury Escapes partnered with Yarra Valley’s very own Rochford Wines to bring guests the best of travel and wine in an intimate dinner setting - and customers loved it.
With the notes of a live violinist and cellist dancing on the breeze, guests sampled Rochford wines with dinner and enjoyed a presentation by Tommy Collins’ creative director, Tommy McIntosh alongside Rochford’s head sommelier, John Bright, who took the stage to illustrate how the dish and wine paired perfectly together.
Seven premium prizes were given away to lucky guests, including five nights at Belmond La Residence d’Angkor in Siem Reap with flights included, five nights at The Reef House Palm Cove – Mgallery by Sofitel in Queensland, two nights at Sofitel Melbourne, a wine tasting experience with a two-course lunch at Rochford Wines, a HUGO BOSS women’s handbag, a HUGO BOSS men’s travel duffel and Luxury Escapes credit. At the end of the night each member was given a bottle of Rochford wine, a Luxury Escapes luggage tag and a personal thank you note for being part of the Platinum Club.
Just one of the successful Platinum Club dinner series, the evening served to keep Luxury Escapes top of mind with this high-spending community - amongst which were some very happy prize winners!
