Sustainable focus drives bookings
Research conducted by Luxury Escapes late last year revealed that 52% of LE customers indicated they were planning to engage with culturally sensitive or eco travel in 2019.
In response, Luxury Escapes launched a week-long campaign championing 10 LE partners who have made a commitment to sustainability.
"We're seeing customer demand grow for more sustainable holiday options and we're thrilled to see some of the world’s biggest luxury accommodation providers making a real impact,” says Luxury Escapes CEO Cameron Holland.
The campaign was designed to bring attention to the efforts of these properties as well as educate the customer about sustainable travel, and was promoted via digital, radio, and PR.
“We saw a significant uplift on bookings for partners that were involved in The Conscious Collection Campaign, showing that there is truly an appetite for eco-friendly offers,” adds Cameron. “We’re excited about the results and will continue to explore ways Luxury Escapes can support partners going green.”
