Their Story

Luxury Escapes recently concluded a successful campaign in India with the boutique resort WelcomHeritage Ayatana, Coorg, to position the brand throughout the Indian market and develop an early base business. A joint venture between ITC Ltd. and Jodhana Heritage, WelcomHeritage came into existence with the mission of supporting and assisting with the restoration of heritage properties. It represents some of the finest traditions of heritage hospitality and tourism in India. WelcomHeritage Ayatana, Coorg is part of the collection and launched in June 2018.  

The property offers 53 well-appointed rooms, each boasting a spectacular view of Coorg's beautiful landscapes. The brand-new facilities are of the highest quality and include The Wilderness SPA, an activity room, fruit garden, indoor/outdoor games and free Wi-Fi.

The Goal 

WelcomHeritage Ayatana, Coorg partnered with Luxury Escapes India to promote its brand and boost its revenue.

The Solution 

Positioning the property as a couple and family-friendly destination, Luxury Escapes India carefully curated the offer page combining copywriting, imagery and video assets to engage, inspire and tell the story of WelcomHeritage Ayatana, Coorg.  

Every detail of the campaign was carefully designed to appeal to an Indian audience looking for a rejuvenating retreat from the city life. Dining inclusions and stress-relief massages were included to set the tone for a relaxing Luxury Escapes weekend getaway. 

The campaign was promoted via custom-made video content and image galleries on social media platforms, reaching more than 1.2 million followers on the Luxury Escapes India Facebook page and 20.7K followers on Instagram page.

Additional marketing channels were leveraged, include a monsoon-getaway focused article on Luxury Escapes Magazine and a hero feature in the Luxury Escapes India aspirational daily newsletter, which goes out to a database of more than 100K members.
